Becoming a parent means you’re bombarded by product recommendations from fellow moms and dads who want to recommend their favorite stroller, car seat, and high chair. As a new mom living in a New York City apartment, my goal was to get what we needed without accumulating too many products my daughter would quickly outgrow. When I heard that Lalo, which I already love for their highly washable smock bibs, was launching four products designed to grow with babies, I was intrigued.
Here’s what you should know about Lalo’s spring launches.
Potty training can be a daunting task, so I’m all for any tool that makes things easier. This smart convertible potty is designed for ease and practicality. Made with Lalo’s signature soft, non-slip BPA-free plastic, this potty starts on the floor for first-timers, converts to an adult toilet seat trainer, and finally turns into a handy step stool you’ll be able to use for years.

These adorable foam bath toys are made from mildew-resistant foam, so they’re safe for years of playtime (and when baby inevitably tries to eat them). The toys offer engagement beyond the classic rubber ducky because they fit together like puzzles. Plus, the foam floats and sticks to the wall for easy storage.

From diaper ointments to the occasional blow-out, it’s impossible to avoid one mess or another on the changing table, but this smart pad cleans like a dream and most importantly, won’t hold on to odors or stains. It’s soft and cushioned for baby’s head, and doesn’t require a cover (because who wants yet another item to wash?). The adjustable strap and non-slip surface keeps baby securely in place.

I loved the play gym we registered for during my baby’s early weeks of tummy time, but now that she’s nearing six months and is happily rolling around, it’s far less useful. This new mat from Lalo features objects to engage the senses, including squishy, hard, and stuffed shapes, hanging toys, and visually simulating color cards. I love that this mat will grow with my baby. As she transitions out of tummy and back time and starts sitting up and crawling, she can bat at the dangling toys and move around the gym on her own.

We’ve long trusted Lalo to make smart products that make parenting, especially in the early years, a little easier. These four additions check that box, and I’m keeping my eyes peeled for whatever’s next. The brand knows what they’re doing!
